Jennings

Jennings Brewery was founded in the village of Lorton (situated between Keswick and Cockermouth in the Lake district) in 1828 by John Jennings (1783 – 1876) and remained an independent family business over many generations. After much growth the company was purchased in 2005 by Marston’s PLC, but still uses the local water and traditional techniques to produce Pure Lake District Ales.
